Tori Bowie, a three-time Olympic champion from the United States, died on Wednesday,

the agency she worked for confirmed. She was 32 years old. Her cause of death was not disclosed.

"We're saddened to share the extremely heartbreaking information that Tori Bowie has passed away,"

Icon Management Inc. tweeted early Wednesday. "We've lost a client, a close friend, a daughter, and a sister."

"Tori was a winner. A ray of light that shone so brightly! We are devastated, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends."

USA Track and Field stated it was "deeply saddened" by Bowie's passing and that her "impact on the sport is immeasurable."
