Before Game 2 Against The Celtics, Mvp Joel Embiid Provides An Update On His Knee Issue

BOSTON-After a spectacular season for the Philadelphia 76ers, Joel Embiid has been chosen the 2023 NBA MVP.

He did all he could on the court to offer the Sixers a lot of opportunity for achievement and put them in position to win a championship.

With that said, the Sixers are in an Eastern Conference semifinal matchup with the Boston Celtics,

which happens to lead the series 1-0 despite Embiid's absence due to a damaged LCL in his right knee.

Embiid addressed his injuries as well as where he's been as they prepare for Game 2 on Wednesday.

"Obviously, it's earlier that we expected considering what I had," Embiid remarked.

"I'm just glad that I was able to go everywhere and kinda see how it feels, so we're gonna take it every day and see where it feels & go from there."
